The gods have abandoned the world. Their magic lingers only in whispers, in shattered ruins and dying bloodlines.
Once, the elves of Alfheim were the stewards of that magic, until the night the Wexians came. Their ships arrived in silence. Their dragon arrived in chains. And by dawn, the great elven kingdom was no more.
Anya, the last queen of the elves, was seen standing in the inferno, wielding Sumarbrander, the sword of the gods. But when the flames died, both she and the blade were gone.
Now, across the sea in Leifthasir, the warriors of Hammerfel return home from raiding, only to find their village burned and their families slaughtered. Gunvald, a seasoned warrior, vows vengeance, but the enemy is unlike any he has ever faced. Someone is hunting those who still remember the old ways, and it all leads back to a name spoken only in fear: Sumarbrander.
Elsewhere, a half-elf named Balti walks the dangerous path between two worlds. Haunted by his past, hunted by those who raised him, he has spent years searching for the lost sword. He knows the truth, that whoever wields Sumarbrander will decide the fate of the world.
As war rises and shadows stir in the north, one truth becomes clear: the gods may be gone, but their war is far from over.

The World of Leifthasir
Leifthasir is a land of myth and magic, shaped by the remnants of divine influence and mortal struggles. Inspired by Scandinavian and Viking cultures, it is a world where gods once walked among men and elves, leaving relics of their power, some revered, some fought over, and some forgotten.
The Mythic Origins & Divine Legacy
Leifthasir’s history is woven with Norse mythology, centered around the creation of the world from Ymir’s remains and the influence of gods like Freyr and Freya. The elves of Alfheim, once blessed with long life and magic known as Seidr, lived in harmony under Freyr’s guidance. However, when the gods departed for Asgard, the world began to decay, its magic waning, its creatures dwindling, and its lands falling into chaos.
One of the last divine relics left behind was Sumarbrander, a sword imbued with Vanir magic entrusted to the elves. This weapon, both a gift and a burden, became a coveted artifact that ultimately led to Alfheim's downfall.
The Fall of Alfheim: The Death of a Queen
For centuries, the elves of Alfheim guarded the last remnants of the gods' magic, their homeland bathed in the eternal glow of Seidr. But no kingdom, no matter how ancient, can withstand the greed of men. The night the ships of men arrived, they did not come alone. Bound in iron and rage, a dragon was unleashed upon the elves, its fire melting the very shores of their homeland. They came for Sumarbrander, the sword of the gods. They left nothing but ash.
Queen Anya, last regent of Alfheim, stood alone in the inferno, Freyr's blade shining like the sun. But against the fury of a dragon and the steel of an invading army, even the light of the elves could not hold.
What became of Sumarbrander is unknown. What is known is this, Alfheim's freedom was lost, and the gods will not return to save them.

Leifthasir: A Land on the Brink
Across the sea, legends of the elves have become myths, the ages have spanned long, and the world seemed to continue without the magic of the gods.
Men seek glory on the open seas, and villages and tribes war over resources.
The warriors of Hammerfel return from raiding, expecting to find hearth and home. Instead, they find their village reduced to smoldering ruins. Gunvald, a battle-hardened war chief, stares at the wreckage of his home and the lifeless body of his wife. There are no survivors, only a message written in blood.
Someone is hunting the remnants of the old world.
Gunvald and his sworn brothers, Hallmundr and Thorhalli, set out in search of answers. But what they uncover is a war far greater than their own. The Wexians, from the southern lands to the west, are moving. Their armies are marching with renewed purpose. At the heart of it all is a name that should have been lost to legend.
Sumarbrander.
The Last Hunter of the Gods
Not all believe the sword is lost.
In the shadows of Alfheim, a half-elf named Balti has spent his life searching for Sumarbrander. A man of two worlds, born of a Wexian warlord and an elven captive, Balti is hated by both. He knows what the sword is capable of. He knows what it can do in the wrong hands.
And he is not the only one searching.
Rumors spread of a power stirring in the north. The Wexians seek the sword for conquest, and whispers speak of an tomb, a resting place of the lost queen.
For Balti, the search is no longer just about the blade. It is about freeing the elves, proving he's more than his human blood.

A War Beyond Kings and Clans
Leifthasir stands on the brink. Gunvald and his warriors seek vengeance. Balti hunts for a weapon lost to time. The Wexians march to claim the last remnants of the gods' power.
But the question remain, what power does the blade truly hold?
The answer may be buried in the ruins of of dragon fire or in the hands of the dead.
